Color Trend | Off-White

We always love to keep up with color trends, and the end of this year has seen a surge in neutral tones being used. One of the most popular choices in neutrals has been shades of off-white. We’re seeing off-white more and more in homes, and we think there’s a chance it could even be the Pantone Color of the Year for 2016. Benjamin Moore also recently announced its 2016 Color of the Year: Simply White!

Here are some of our favorite ways we’ve been using off-white tones in our recent projects:

Dining Room - Drapery Street

Off-white can also be incredibly luxurious when done in silk. These Marion St. drapes in Antique are a lovely choice for this formal dining room. They perfectly frame the room, and are a gorgeous backdrop for the dark blue chairs and unique light fixture. These elegant drapes are from our Ready-to-Drape collection.

Designer Spotlight | Rebecca Stratton

This Delancy St. eggshell panel is from a recent project with designer Rebecca Stratton, and is part of our Made-to-Measure collection. The off-white color creates a perfect frame for this pale blue seating area, and the tassels are a fun and whimsical accent.

Hunter Douglas New Style Shutter - Drapery Street

Off-white also works well with texture! These champagne Peacock St. drapes are one of our favorite fabrics to use in window designs. We love the playful feel they give to a room, and how they look over these Hunter Douglas shutters. As you can see, off-white can be paired with white to create a lovely contrast. These drapes are part of our Ready-to-Drape collection.
