About the Indiana Design Center

Arts District LampInspiration is found at every corner of the Indiana Design Center. Over 30 showrooms, design professionals, and artists provide access to innovative products and eye-catching designs. With hundreds of national and Indiana-based brands available, there is never a shortage of things to discover.

The Indiana Design Center welcomes design professionals and the public. The public is welcome to shop in all first floor retail showrooms. Many of the retail showrooms also offer in-house design services for the public. The second floor features showrooms that sell to the trade and also studio suites that are home to design professionals and artists.

Visit the IDC events calendar for details about in-building, design and arts industry events across the State. The IDC and the building’s showrooms host regular events open to the public with a basis on design industry education, topics and trends.

Designer-on-Call is a free service available to any IDC guest. Visitors who do not already have a professional design relationship are welcome to use the Designer-on-Call service where they can meet a professional who will acquaint them with the center and assist them in defining their needs.

A portfolio library is also available on the website and makes it easy for visitors to identify professional designers and review their work. The Indiana Design Center is a source for matching professional designers with new clients. Click here to learn more or to schedule a complimentary consultation with a designer.

The building is open Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm. Showroom hours vary.
