Tension rods or adjustable-length rods? Not in our house 😅 Custom drapes deserve custom hardware.

Hardwired shades offer the cleanest, most seamless experience for automation. Don’t miss your one chance to pre-wire! Once the drywall is up, that window is closed (unless you want to cut into fresh walls… not recommended!). Even if you’re not ready for automated shades now, pre-wiring gives you the option later.

So, why do we dislike grommets so much?
1️⃣ They’ll never give you a high-end look. When stacked, they look skimpy. When closed, they look like bedsheets in the window. Even when professionally dressed, the moment you use them, they lose their shape.
2️⃣ They’re not designed to function well. Opening and closing them is a pain, and you shouldn’t have to sacrifice functionality for style.
3️⃣ They’re expensive to manufacture in the U.S., and overseas options often come with quality and ethical concerns.
Ripplefold draperies are a great alternative to grommet curtains. They provide a similar look but actually stay looking nice while functioning smoothly.
