Your designer will come to your home to confirm the final selections and take precise measurements.
Step 4: Professional Installation
Our certified installers will provide white-glove installation. If you chose automated treatments, we will help you integrate them with your home automation system. Your project is reviewed by our entire design & install teams to ensure a flawless finish.
Step 5: Enjoy With Confidence

Where can I see Aura shades in action before I buy?
Visit one of our showrooms to experience Aura Illuminated Shades in action. Our interactive, full-size displays allow you to try before you buy and purchase with confidence. We have showroom in both Carmel and Fishers, Indiana. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are encouraged if you want to meet one-on-one with a design consultant and your specific project.
Currently, Drapery Street is the only Hunter Douglas gallery in Indiana that sells and installs Aura Illuminated Shades.
Can you adjust the amount of illumination coming from the shade?
Yes. You can adjust the light levels on Aura shades from dim to bright. You can also adjust the light temperatures from warm to cool and the speed at which lights fade in and out.
Conveniently control Aura shades with PowerView+™ Automation (which is hardwired) and the PowerView App. Within the app you can adjust the shade and liner positions, as well as the light intensity and temperature, whenever you desire.
Set custom scenes for your Aura shades so they adjust automatically throughout the day based on your preferences.
Your Drapery Street installer will help you program your Aura shades and set custom scenes if you desire.
Are Aura shades compatible with my smart home system?
Most likely, yes. Our window treatments, including Aura Illuminated Shades, are compatible with most home automation systems including Loxone, Control4, Crestron, Google Assistant, Savant, Lutron, Logitech, Elan, and more.
What shade styles can I choose from?
Choose from three shade types for the front panel of your Aura shades: Vignette® Modern Roman Shades, Designer Roller Shades, and Sonnette® Cellular Roller Shades.
Are Aura shades energy efficient?
Aura shades are avaiable in three different front panels. The Sonnette® Cellular Roller Shade will be the most energy efficient. Sonnette® Cellular Roller Shades marry the simplicity of a roller shade with a layer of insulating fabric.
Are Aura shades light filtering or room darkening?
Both! Aura shades are like three shades in one. They offer a textured front shade that filters natural light, a room-darkening liner that enhances privacy, and built in lighting that provides a relaxing glow any time of day or night.
