Which type of window treatments is this technology available on?
We offer several products that have either an independent liner or Duolite® technology that allows a single treatment to offer both room darkening and light filtering capabilities.
These products include roller shades, roman shades, honeycomb/cellular shades, woven wood shades, and sheer shades.
Where can I see dual shades in action before I buy?
Visit one of our showrooms to experience our dual shades in action. Our interactive, full-size displays allow you to operate many types of treatments, from roller shades to honeycomb shades. We have showroom in both Carmel and Fishers, Indiana.
How much mounting depth is required?
It depends on the product that you select. Because some dual products use a single roller, it requires less mounting depth than competitor products.
During your consultation, your designer will discuss your options based on the mounting depth of your home's windows.
Is this technology compatible with energy efficient shades?
Yes! Ideal temperature control is yours with energy-efficient Duette® cellular shades with Duolite® technology. Two different cellular fabrics, one light filtering and one room darkening, are fused together into a single shade. The insulating honeycomb design helps keep a room cooler when temperatures heat up and warmer when they dip.
The Duolite design option is also available on energy-efficient Applause Honeycomb Shades.
Do you offer a warranty on your dual shades?
We stand behind all our products. We offer a Love It Guarantee, Limited Lifetime Warranty, and Hunter Douglas Right Choice Promise, which provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

We understand there are a lot of choices in products and colors. If you don't love the choice you have made, contact your designer within 30 days of installation, so we can work with you until you are satisfied. Replacement products will be charged at 50% off or through the Hunter Douglas Right Choice Promise.
