Cāmon, we all know youāre not going to want to drag out a step stool or ladder every time you want to adjust your hard-to-reach shades.
Youāll either end up leaving them closed and miss out on all your views and natural light or keeping them open and get baked by afternoon sun and have zero privacy at night.

Pro tip: Height is an illusion.
If your ceilings feel low and confining, check your drapery placement. Hang your rods toward the ceiling and let your panels fall long. Itāll help elongate the walls, make your ceilings feel taller, and your room instantly more open and airy. (Just make sure the panels still graze the floor. Highwater drapes are a whole other issue!)
