Which products can be used for two-story windows?
We have many different products that can be used on two-story windows including draperies, roller shades, Roman shades, sheer shades, woven wood shades, shutters, and blinds. A combination can also be used, such as draperies with roller shades. Your Drapery Street designer will go over your options and help you select the product that best meets your functional needs, style, and budget.
What kind of light control do your two-story treatments offer?
From sheer to room-darkening, we offer many different opacities on all of our window treatment products. For the most versatile light control, you may want to opt for two products layered together, like a light-filtering shade and room-darkening drapes.
Will my two-story drapes have seams?
Our two-story drapes have NO horizontal seams unless you choose a seamed design where two or more fabrics are used together. Some customers love a seamed design, especially if they have a break in their windows. The contrasting fabric can be placed right where the windows divide to create visual interest.
Depending on the width of your drapes, vertical seams may be required. However, these will hardly be noticeable because of how the drapes are pleated.
Can I get stationary two-story drapery panels?
Yes. We offer both functional and non-functional (stationary) two-story panels.
Tell me more about your motorized two-story treatments.
All of our two-story treatments can be motorized. This includes our draperies, shades, shutters, and blinds. Our motorized products use next-gen technology, making them easy-to-use, reliable, and accurate.
With motorization, you can open, close, raise, and lower your window treatments with a remote control, smartphone app, or the sound of your voice.
Are your motorized two-story treatments compatible with my home automation system?
Our motorized window treatments can integrate with a variety of home automation systems. Compatible systems include Google Assistant, Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Crestron®, Logitech®, Lutron, Control4®, Elan®, IFTTT, URC®, RTI, and Savant®.
If I motorize my two-story treatments, do I have to motorize the other window treatments in the same room?
No. You can automate all your window treatments, some of them, or even just one of them. Some people find that they only need to motorize hard-to-reach windows and no others. We can motorize only the window treatments that you want.
Do I have to motorize my two-story window treatments?
No. While motorization makes open and closing two-story treatments much easier, it is an optional feature. We have a variety of operating systems that your designer will tell you about and you can select the one that will work best for you.
What lengths do your two-story drapery panels come in?
All of our drapes are completely custom, meaning that we can accommodate any size window. Our installers will come to your home to measure your windows before your final order is placed to ensure your drapes are the perfect length.
Can I view your fabrics online?
We have so many fabrics that the best way to view them is by visiting one of our showrooms. Do you have a specific fabric in mind? Ask us if we can source it for you — we likely can!
Do you offer a warranty on your motorized two-story window treatments?
