Marsala | Pantone Color of the Year 2015

At the end of every year, we’re always excited to see what color the Pantone Color of the Year will be. This color will lead the way when it comes to design and fashion trends and patterns. We saw lots of last year’s color, Radiant Orchid, in our designs this year. Will this year’s color, Marsala, be as popular?

We have to admit, we were surprised by this color choice. We were expecting Cobalt Blue to be this year’s color. Marsala may not be a color we use often, but we currently have client projects we’re working on that are using this very color. So we have to ask, what do you think? Should it be the color of the year?

Marsala adds warmth to a room, and it coordinates with many different colors.

However, is it a classic that has never gone out or in style. We do not see it as a trend to be widely adopted and then discarded (think blue/brown).
