Maximalist Design

Cottagecore
Cottagecore style embodies the need for coziness by creating a relaxing space drawn from vintage, natural styles. Think nights spent wrapped up in a blanket and sipping hot cocoa while watching the snow fall outside.
This style draws from the romantic parts of agricultural life and embraces nostalgia for the countryside. If you found yourself making bread or taking up gardening during the pandemic, this style is likely calling your name.
Give your home a cottage-style makeover with a warm, neutral color palette and natural elements. For the windows, consider drapes made from luxe linens or with a soft vintage-inspired floral pattern. Shades made from natural materials like woven woods, bamboo, and grasses add both warmth and texture.

Rustic vogue turns up the glamour on the cottagecore style. The result is a more refined look with 1970s minimalist vibes. Many of our designer clients are embracing this style by using white and black fabrics, wood elements, and warm tones. Indoor/Outdoor Living
Now more than ever, people are looking for ways to blend indoor and outdoor living and bring more comfort and utility to their outdoor spaces. Enjoying the outdoors is a trend that’s here to stay.
Sales of our outdoor shades have exploded as homeowners seek protection from the elements, a barrier against bugs, and privacy. When used in tandem with outdoor heaters and fireplaces, our shades can keep outdoor spaces comfortable even when there is snow on the ground.

Parkland® wood blinds are cut from wood harvested from responsibly managed forests. The blinds give back what they take, too.
