Drapery Street is an award-winning custom window treatment company with showrooms in Carmel and Fishers, Indiana. We’re a Hunter Douglas dealer with our own workroom and install team, so we take every project from first conversation to final install. We’re growing, and we promote from within.
The role
You’ll guide clients through custom window treatment projects, from the first in-home consultation to the final install. Leads are provided by our showroom team, and you’ll have our workroom, install team and sales coaching behind you.
What you’ll do
• Lead in-home design consultations and recommend the right solution for each client’s goals, style and budget
• Present project solutions and proposals using our sales process and tools
• Manage projects from first meeting to install, working closely with our workroom, install and operations teams
• Build your own book of business with clients, designers and builders
• Keep every opportunity current in our CRM (Pipedrive)
• Help cover the showroom at times, so there’s always an expert in the building
What you’ll learn
• Hunter Douglas certification and our full product line, including motorization
• Sandler sales training, our 7-step process and ongoing 1:1 sales coaching
• A workroom rotation where you learn how every project is built
Who you are
• Experience in consultative sales, ideally with high-end clients
• Window treatment, interior design or home furnishings experience is a plus
• Polished and professional, with strong follow-through
• Coachable and committed to a proven process: you want to keep getting better
• Available for some evening or weekend appointments and events, plus some travel
• Valid driver’s license
Where it leads
Senior Design Consultant ($120,000–$200,000+): whole-home and specialty projects, a client entertaining budget and earned schedule flexibility. Titles are earned by mastery, not time.
